CleanByMail is the perfect complement to many of our Specialty Services. Many types of items are processed through CleanByMail, including ties, purses, leathers, suedes, sweaters, shirts, knits and wedding gown preservations. We have developed our own custom shipping boxes for suits, jackets, and wedding gowns, and carefully package each garment for protection during shipping.
Finding a cleaner to trust with your fine Brioni tie or Loro Piana cashmere sweater can be nerve racking. If you don't live within our service area we would be honored to be selected as your specialty dry cleaner. We ship items daily to customers who reside outside our normal pick-up and delivery areas. Many of them have been referred by other dry cleaners or retailers who are familiar with our specialty services.

Even though we frequently ship all the services that Margaret's offers, some are more appropriate than others for shipping. The services most commonly used are:

If you reside outside our Southern California pickup and delivery areas, you may ship your item to Margaret's CleanByMail Service using a carrier of your choice…UPS, FedEx, USPS. You are responsible for paying for insurance on your item when you send it. The CleanByMail form includes a place for you to fill in a declared value for the return shipment. Margaret’s will ensure up to $100; additional insurance will be charged to your final invoice.

Replacement costs will be based on market value for USED GOODS. All NEW GOODs will be insured based on the Invoice value provided.
Include on the Request form the required Credit Card information for billing. Processing of the order will not be initiated until complete and verified card information is obtained. If you have used our CleanByMail service before we may have a credit card on file for you. In that case, just provide the last 4 digits of the card on the form as well as its expiration date.
Many items are shipped in our specially developed containers to protect the garments during shipping. Each item is carefully packaged to protect the finished garment. UPS ground shipping is used unless otherwise specified. Be sure to indicate declared value for insurance and your preferences regarding delivery if no one is home to receive the package.
